Just curious if there’s any community copies of your cool game available? I’m a disabled pensioner with PTSD, chronic anxiety and depression and these new community games available by generous creators like you make a huge difference to my daily life.
Having new games to play regularly helps me have a bit better quality of life and makes such a huge difference to me. I really appreciate game creators like you who do generously offer these community copies to people going through a hard time. It really helps out.
I know some people think anyone requesting community copies regularly are just abusing this system and don’t need them.
I can’t afford much but do buy bundles when I can afford them and have supported:
Hi! Are any more community copies available? Would love to play this, but I'm a bit tight on funds this month. :( I'd definitely leave a review, rating, and spread the word to my other solo rpg pals to show my support and gratitude!
I'm hoping for some community copies to be available again! The few prompts in the example images tickled my creativity (currently suffering from writer's block)
This is incredibly well made. The core is fairly simple, but several rules and the way the prompts are structured make it a very elegant system. The way tokens are linked to both skipping and actions feels to me like a great solution, as it ensures you don't just skip until you find a prompt that already fits what you had in mind (ensuring surprising twists even in a solo experience) while also allowing the skipping to have narrative weight ... and impact on future decisions.
And the prompts itself are great. Open enough for creativity but with enough additional questions (and optional draws on some) to help out when you're stumped.
I've written a few entries so far and I'm having a blast.
A bit of my brain also longs for a 1 on 1 option a bit like Star Crossed, though. Most of it would be usable, with the uneven balance a potential part of the charm, but the more introspective prompts would be a bit less interesting for the Lady.
Thank you for playing A Rush of Blood! I'm glad you're enjoying your playthrough!
Funny you mention a duet game because I do have plans for a version of the game for two! I'll definitely be coming back to this and adding new machanics + prompts for the Lady.
And thanks for commenting, this was really nice to read :)
